ANA SEMIČ BURSAĆ

Ana Semič Bursać graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in the class of Dubravka Tomšič - Srebotnjak and received her master's degree at the University of Music in Basel in the class of Tobias Schabenberger after finishing school at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana with Helena Meguar and Hink Haas. Throughout her education, she won several piano competitions and received additional instruction from Dmitri Bashkirov, Aleksandar Madžar, Norma Fisher, and others. She has received Škerjančeva award as well as the Prešeren Award from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. She teaches piano at the Celje Music School, takes part in Slovenian chamber music theatre productions, regulartly records for the RTV Slovenia archive, gives independent concerts and appears as a soloist with orchestras and chamber ensembles.
